    Playing for Keeps was delivered via podcast in audio and PDF form and will be available in print from Swarm Press August 25. It tells the story of Keepsie Branson, a bar owner in the shining metropolis of Seventh City: birthplace of super powers. Keepsie and her friends live among egotistical heroes and manipulative villains, and manage to fall directly in the middle as people with powers, but who just aren't strong enough to make a difference. Or that's what they've been told. As the city begins to melt down, it's hard to tell who are the good guys and who are the bad.

Wallpaper: Doodad

Doodad is one of my favorite villains in PfK. I’ll not lie. So I was utterly thrilled when Thom agreed to do one more wallpaper for me, displaying our favorite tinker.

    That’s a great image. What was it modeled in?

    And I hate to bring this up, but isn’t the monocle in the wrong eye? (That struck me in the book, because if I was going to cybernize one of my eyes, I wouldn’t choose the dominant one, just in case I messed up, so this way actually makes more sense to me. (But then, maybe DD is left-handed?))

    DOH!, you’re right it should be the other eye Church. Good catch. Anyhow I can change it if the goddess Mur would like me to, or we can just say the image was taken from a mirror that you just can’t see :D. If I do another Doodad pic I’ll be sure to move it. I don’t feel to bad though since the image on the cover of episode 1’s pdf it’s also in the left eye.
