  1. Is it just me, or does the situation in Chapter 11 seem a bit contrived? I mean, come on, a synonym for killing someone is “taking their life”! You can’t take anything from Keepsie that she owns, which means that you can’t take her life! As soon as I realized she was alive, I knew why. You’d think Timson would have figured that out, if not the Librarian.

  2. Wow! Hooray!

  3. where’s the pdf?

  4. If I had to hazard a guess as to why Timson didn’t figure it out, I would have to say ego. I mean how would it look if the, “Awesome Academy” (note sarcasm), missed something that useful. Think of the hero that couldn’t die. Course the way i’m hearing it they’re just a bunch of poopy heads anyway. Keep up the good work Mur. Loving the story so far.
Till the Academy lets in Third Wavers, Make mine Mur!

  5. Suggestion: All of Keepsie’s friends should sign themselves over as slaves to Keepsie. She will then own their bodies. Anyone who tries to harm any of them will get frozen. Keepsie will have an invincible army, and won’t have to worry about friends getting taken hostage.

  6. I enjoyed the various twists in this episode a lot! I would say clever, not contrived. Seems the librarian isn’t exactly a big academy fan either (or maybe she just doesn’t like Timson).

  7. D’oh! I didn’t understand the whole “taking her life” thing until I read the comments. Then I realized how clever the whole thing was!

I really am loving the universe you’ve created, Mur. That, combined with your storytelling abilities, have me tuning in week after week. :-)
