  • About This Novel

    Playing for Keeps was delivered via podcast in audio and PDF form and is now available in print from Swarm Press. It tells the story of Keepsie Branson, a bar owner in the shining metropolis of Seventh City: birthplace of super powers. Keepsie and her friends live among egotistical heroes and manipulative villains, and manage to fall directly in the middle as people with powers, but who just aren't strong enough to make a difference. Or that's what they've been told. As the city begins to melt down, it's hard to tell who are the good guys and who are the bad.

  • What is a podcast?

    A podcast is a form of Internet distribution of digital media (audio, text, video, etc) - you subscribe using one of a number of tools (iTunes is a popular one) and the content is delivered to you. This podcast has audio and PDF content, and occasional video.

    Keepsie looks hot, who they model her after? You, Mur? She sorta looks like a pixelated version of you. :) - White lightning… well.. If he floats the gals boats. But these are some great images. I wish I could get that kind of stuff out of my head and on on the screen…. I’d love to make a “movie” of Symbiont with all of the clones adventures, for J.C.’s novel. If not to get it out of my head, but to share it too… LOL.

    Thanks RandyNose, I really appreciate the compliment. Keepsie here was actually loosely based off of the Natalie Metzger sketch found in the Art: Sketches and More and earlier in the blog posts. Any resemblance to Mur is purely Natalie’s fault ;P I just looked at her sketch and said , “Ok if I were drawing Keepsie from a real person and this is what it came out like what would the real person look like.” Also here is another little ’shocker’ for you. Keepsie and White Lightning - same model with different morphs applied. I know scandalous, just don’t tell Keepsie that. I’d hate to draw her rage.

    Oh no! Well… That would explain why he looks feminine… LOL… With all of that hair. But you should really keep some of these secretes, well, secrete. But well, they don’t look that much alike, I mean, she’s got some cool girl hips, and well, he’s got those, um, well, man bulges..
