News on the backend of the podcast

Hey Third Wavers - life has interfered with more than one person working behind the scenes at the Playing for Keeps Experience and some things are a little late. I’ve been laid off from my job and sickness has taken priority over at Stories of the Third Wave.

So the PDF will be late and there will be no Stories of the Third Wave until the new year. We’ll still have Episode 8 posted this Thursday. Thanks for your patience!

  1. Life happens.. And layoffs SUCK! - I wish that some big jolly elf gives you a wining lottery ticket.

Happy hoidays, and may Zues shit gold eggs on your door step. Oh.. Maybe more like.. may a GOOSE lay golden eggs on your porch. Porched eggs… um, yea… that’s what I want for ya.. Porched Golden eggs..
OR a Egg shapped porche? nope…no porches..

Have an insanely fun filled holiday.

  2. Sorry to hear about the set backs and it’s a real bummer about your job. Try not to dwell on it and focus upon enjoying the xmas period. May the new year bring great things. :)

  3. Bummer on losing your job Mur! Or should I say Bum. Mur! :) I feel your pain. I lost my job earlier this summer. Hang in there!

  4. Damn, Mur. I know what that feels like, happened to me a few years ago. I feel for you. Hope Santa puts a better job in your Christmas stocking. That’s what happened to me, the replacement job was much better and much more fun. I’m still there, seven years later.

  5. Aww, that sucks! Sorry to hear that Mur.

  6. You have my sympathies on the layoff - I’ve been there many times, and it’s always disheartening. Just remember - it’s not about you! It’s not your fault that the buisness needs less people than it’s got.

I think next time I update my resume, I’m going to re-write it as I want it to read, instead of what it really is. “2 years experience as engineer on interplanetary spacecraft”. Yea, that’s the ticket…
